What is the dress code and preferred style?
Meg and Austin aren’t the fanciest people every day but we sure like to dress up for a special occasion! We hope you enjoy dressing up with us. Our wedding will be formal with black-tie attire encouraged. As far as a color scheme, black, blue, green, and tan are encouraged colors to mesh with what we have planned. Think of the colors of nature (the sky, water, and greenery). Black suits or tuxes are encouraged for men. Here’s what we are envision for our color scheme:
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The Admiral’s House is a primarily outdoor venue. We will have access to the whole property, including the house itself, but the ceremony and reception will take place outside. The weather in Seattle in August is usually quite warm and sunny but we will have a tent for the reception and dinner.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Only children who are a part of the immediate family and children above the age of 10 are welcome at our wedding.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We will have seating for plus ones of single guests only. Please reach out to Meg or Austin ASAP if you plan to bring a plus one.
